The City of Orange is the gateway to Santiago Canyon, Orange County's classic road ride. We're a Santa Ana shop, about 11 miles by road from E Chapman Ave via the 55.
If you live in Orange, Santiago Canyon Rd is your backyard climb, and the Santa Ana River Trail runs along the west side of the city. Long canyon descents are where brakes, tires and headsets get tested, so riders from Orange tend to care about the details: a firm lever, fresh pads, tires without cuts, a headset that doesn't knock.
We don't have a shop in Orange. Our only location is in Santa Ana, near the Costa Mesa line.

From 300 E Chapman Ave (near the Plaza and the city offices), go west on Chapman to the 55 (Costa Mesa Fwy) and head south for about 6 miles. Exit at MacArthur Blvd and go west about 3 miles. We're on W MacArthur between Fairview St and Harbor Blvd, in Suite B.

From the Jamboree end to the top of the Modjeska Grade is about 11.1 miles and roughly 1,080 ft of gain. Coming the other way, the Modjeska Grade from Cook's Corner is about 1.7 miles at a 6.1% average, with steeper pitches (bikeclimbs.com). Our climb guide covers water, traffic and gearing.

The trail passes through Orange on its way from Yorba Linda to the beach. The Orange-Olive area is listed as a rest stop with water in county materials, and the trail continues south past Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.

Where Santiago Canyon Rd meets the city, and a common start and regroup point for canyon rides. The Mountains to Sea Trail starts nearby, at Weir Canyon north of the park.
Before canyon season, riders from Orange most often book a tune-up and a brake bleed, plus new tires. Climbing a lot on an older bike? Ask about gearing changes; we do component upgrades and builds.
