Bike shop for Santa Ana riders

We're a Santa Ana shop: one location on W MacArthur Blvd, in the southwest corner of the city near the Costa Mesa line. Service, Cervélo bikes and Sunday rides, without crossing a freeway.

If you ride in Santa Ana, you already know the two ways out of town on a bike: west to the Santa Ana River Trail, or east toward the canyons. Our shop sits right between them. The river and its trail are just under a mile west of our door, where MacArthur Blvd turns into Talbert Ave at the Fountain Valley line, so a lot of our Santa Ana customers ride in for drop-off and take the trail home.

This is the neighborhood we work in every day, so we see the full range: commuters on hybrids who need brakes that actually stop, club riders on carbon race bikes, triathletes getting ready for a season, and gravel riders who live on the river trail and the dirt beyond it.

Getting to the shop from Santa Ana

About 5.9 miles by road from Santa Ana City Hall (Civic Center) (4.1 miles in a straight line). Approximate: computed from OpenStreetMap coordinates and routing data. Traffic and your exact start point change it.

From Santa Ana City Hall and the Civic Center, head west on W Santa Ana Blvd, go south on Bristol St for about 3.3 miles, then turn right (west) on W MacArthur Blvd. We're about 1.7 miles along, between Fairview St and Harbor Blvd, in Suite B.

Coming from the 405? Exit Fairview Rd or Harbor Blvd and head north to MacArthur. South Coast Plaza is about 1.6 miles east of the shop (straight line), a handy landmark if you're new to this side of town.

Back Bay loop, Newport Beach

The flat 10.5-mile loop around Upper Newport Bay is the classic after-work spin for central OC. Back Bay Drive itself is a 3-mile stretch along the water that's one-way for cars (south to north) and two-way for bikes and walkers, with a 15 mph limit for everyone.

What Santa Ana riders bring us

Santa Ana riders bring us everything, but the most common jobs are tune-ups, flat and tire work after a season of river-trail glass, hydraulic brake bleeds, and creaky bottom brackets. Riders who commute year-round tend to need chains and cables more often than weekend riders, so ask us to check chain wear when you drop off.
